I brought my car in because the latch for the fuel door wasn't operating properly. I originally set up an appointment with the local Subaru dealership (you know who you are). I knew the cable was stretched but they wouldn't agree to have a cable in stock (a $20 part!) so that I wouldn't have to make 2 trips. Admittedly, BG required 2 trips, but it's close to work and I could walk back and forth, so that wasn't an issue. Plus, I wouldn't expect a smaller shop to have the parts that a dealership would have. From now on, I will take my car to BG instead of the dealership. The service was great, the people were friendly and helpful, and the work was done in a timely manner. It cost a bit more than I would have liked, but I don't think that's a BG issue, every car repair costs more than I like.
